1. Introduction

Welcome to Pinnacle ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the Pinnacle website, mobile applications, and grocery delivery/pickup services (collectively, the "Platform"). By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction to use our Platform. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to use the payment method associated with your account.

3. Account & Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at support@pinnacle.shop if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Orders & Availability

All orders placed through Pinnacle are subject to product availability and confirmation. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at our discretion, including orders that appear to be placed by resellers or that contain pricing errors. Once an order is confirmed and payment received, we will make reasonable efforts to fulfil it.

If an item in your order is out of stock, we may contact you to offer a substitute or partial fulfilment. You will not be charged for items we are unable to deliver.

5. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (₦) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices may change without prior notice; however, changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed. Payment is processed securely through Paystack. We do not store your card details on our servers.

6. Delivery & Pickup

Delivery times are estimates and may vary based on location, order volume, and hub availability. We make every effort to deliver within the stated window but do not guarantee specific delivery times. A delivery fee may apply based on your location.

For hub pickup orders, you will be notified when your order is ready for collection. Orders not collected within 48 hours of the "Ready for Pickup" notification may be cancelled.

7. Returns & Refunds

Our returns and refund policy is detailed on our Returns & Refunds page. In summary, goods are not refundable due to change of mind. Refunds or store credits are issued for damaged, wrong, expired, or unfulfilled items when reported within the required timeframe (24 hours for perishables, 48 hours for non-perishables).

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including logos, text, images, and software — is the property of Pinnacle or its licensors and is protected by Nigerian and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts.
Interfere with or disrupt the Platform or its infrastructure.
Submit false or misleading information during registration or checkout.
Use automated tools to scrape content or place orders.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pinnacle shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform or inability to use it, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the order giving rise to the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Pinnacle, its officers, employees, and partners harmless from any claims, losses, or damages (including legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of the Platform.

12. Modifications

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Oyo State, Nigeria.
